Career development is recognized as a career of choice in Nova Scotia; Certified Career Development Practitioners are recognized as professionals; and NSCDA is recognized as a leader in the career development sector.

The Nova Scotia Career Development Association (NSCDA) is a not-for-profit professional organization with close to 1000 members. The NSCDA provides training, certification and membership services to strengthen the career development profession within Nova Scotia and elsewhere and, ultimately, to positively impact employment and economic outcomes.

The NSCDA recognizes that skilled career development support helps to grow our people, communities and economy. Established in 1999, our expertise lies in the development and delivery of training; competency-based practitioner certification; and the recognition of prior learning. As a membership organization, we offer a range of services to both individual and organizational members.
