Project Description

Labour Market Information Training

NSCDA partnered with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education to create three digital training modules and a companion learner’s guide on Labour Market Information (LMI) used by career practitioners. The new materials focus on filling identified gaps in training and education that will improve the knowledge base and confidence of practitioners using LMI. This will increase the regular use of LMI by both clients and practitioners.

Supporting career decisions that strongly align with the needs of individuals and the needs of their communities promotes career and financial success for clients, with positive spinoffs for the local economy and all Nova Scotians.
